#1 Recycle Location on campus (pound for pound)
What we are doing:
- We average 1,000 lbs. of paper a week
- The Student Handbooks are recycled instead of thrown away
- Our Shopping Bags are biodegradable
- Our Text Res bags are reusable and recylable
- We sell reusable waterbottles
- Our Book drive donates used textbooks to foreign countries for use
- Recyclable box filler is recycled weekly approx 400 lbs quarterly
Here at the Missouri State Bookstore, we're doing our part to help the planet.

Since Janurary 2009 We recycle approximately 50,000 lbs of cardboard and paper!
